Walkabout offer friendly personal assistance by their owned and operated team. They can assist with any information you require including ferry bookings. All motorhomes are complete with duvets, towels, linen, crockery ,cooking utensils, toaster, etc even pillows. Yes just bring your clothes!!!! All motorhomes are regularly serviced to minimise risk of breakdown. 24hr Nationwide road side assistance available should you need help.
We have now added mobile broadband internet with WI-FI access to our motorhomes. You can access the internet from almost anywhere you go in your Walkabout Motorhome, so bring your laptop and stay in touch with the rest of the World. Any internet applications that you have on your laptop can be used, for example: e-mail, web surfing, skype phone calls etc. You can even research what to do in New Zealand whilst you are on the road.

INSURANCE
A compulsory insurance charge of NZ$20.00 per day covers your hire vehicle for windscreen breakage and third party property,Flat Tyres and public liability insurance The hirer is liable to pay a bond which is compulsory in the event of an accident or damage done to the vehicle.
PLEASE NOTE you are advised to arrange your own insurance to cover your own personal possessions (not covered in this insurance).
